Royal watchers have finally learned the name of the baby prince born to HRH The Duchess of Cambridge on Monday, 23 April 2018 (St George’s Day). Prince Louis Arthur Charles will be known as HRH Prince Louis of Cambridge. Louis, by the way, is pronounced the French way with the silent ‘s’.
I had hoped for a Prince Arthur and thought Philip and Michael would be the middle names in honour of his great-grandfather, HRH Prince Philip, and of his grandfather, Michael Middleton.
I am looking forward to watching Prince Louis grow up with his siblings. In the meantime, I hope the Cambridge family of five will be able to enjoy some time away from the spotlight.
