It still breaks my heart to know that this is the first birthday with which HM The Queen will not be celebrating with her husband of 73 years, HRH Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. I hope that she can have a peaceful birthday celebration with her corgis, Fergus and Muick, and I hope she can see her family through video calls.
May God comfort her during this heartbreaking time and bless her with good health, strength, wisdom and peace. I hope it won’t be long before The Queen can spend more time with family without fear of the virus. Long may she reign!
I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people—for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. (1 Timothy 2:1-2)

I was very sad about HRH Duke of Edinburgh’s passing, too. And knowing what we know now… 😥 No words.
I do love your blog’s new look! I haven’t been around in ages.
