For the festive season, the Chesterfield has brought back their Winter Wonderland Afternoon Tea from 26 November 2018 – 6 January 2019 in the Conservatory. At £45 per person, guests may enjoy a shot of mulled wine, finger sandwiches, cranberry and chocolate scones, as well as a selection of winter-themed delectables:
- Salted caramel chocolate tart present
- Clementine and pistachio slice
- Cranberry mousse
- Chestnut macaron
- Chocolate Yule log
- Black Forest cupcake
- Christmas Tree Chocolate and Coffee Pot
Those with dietary requirements can opt for vegetation and gluten-free afternoon tea. For tea, I would recommend the Chesterfield Christmas blend, a black Assam tea with ginger, orange peel, cloves, and herbs.
If you’re still hungry, you can always order more sandwiches, scones, or dessert.
Mulled wine
Having dined at the Chesterfield Mayfair many times through work, I was very impressed with all the pastries and the exemplary service. I was happy to have the opportunity to enjoy afternoon tea for two last year, which my Mum and I both enjoyed.
