Tea at Bea’s Vintage Tea Rooms (Closed)

This post comes two years too late! Last year, I was surprised to hear that Bea’s Vintage Tea Rooms in Bath had closed without any explanation. This popular 1940’s-themed tea room across from the Fashion Museum of Bath was always full but I was lucky to turn up at the right time to secure a table for one.

Here the servers dressed in 1940’s-inspired (or possible vintage) clothing and diners listened to wartime tunes whilst enjoying an affordable afternoon or cream tea. Since I wanted to have room for Sally Lunn buns later that evening, I ordered the Cream Tea which I believe was no more than £5.

It’s a shame that this tea room had to close but I’m hoping it will re-open someday!
