The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will spend the last day of their tour (Friday, 21 July 2017) in Hamburg, the second largest city in Germany. Their first stop in the morning will be the Maritime Museum (the museum will be closed to the public until 2pm. The entrance fee that day will be €6). At this time, it is not known if Prince George and Princess Charlotte will join their parents on the tour of this family-friendly museum.
The museum opened in 2008 inside an 11-storey former warehouse and houses over 40,000 items of Peter Tamm’s private collection of model ships, art, uniforms, and more. Having visited the impressive Maritime Museum in 2009, I would like to share some photos from inside and I highly recommend that you visit should you find yourself in Hamburg!
Address: Koreastraße 1, 20457 Hamburg, Germany
Opening hours: Mon-Fri 10:00 – 18:00
