There are many places to take ballet classes for adults in Munich. I have tried the following studios (save for the last one) and I hope you’ll find the one that works best for you! I really enjoyed Dance Station and Studio 1.

• Ballet classes offered include learning some repretoires from Giselle, Bayedere, etc. at the end of the class

Tanzprojekt

• Ballet Floor Barre (barre on floor) classes offered
• Some classes taught in English by native English-speaking dance instructors. Most instructors can also speak English.

MVHS

• Location
  • S-bahn stop: Rosenheimer Platz
  • Classes at the Munich International Ballet School in the city centre (Marsstr. 40)
  • Also in Bogenhausen and Obergiesing
• More affordable classes (110€)
• Classes must be taken weekly – no drop ins
• Equivalent to community centre ballet classes in Canada
