(This post was written for The Glosse Posse.)
This is the final and special beauty post for April to celebrate the Duke & Duchess of Cambridge’s 2nd wedding anniversary! I hope you’ve enjoyed this month’s Kate theme. 🙂
To commemorate the Royal Wedding of Prince William and Catherine (nee Middleton) in 2011,butter LONDON came out with the special edition nail lacquer called ‘No More Waity, Katie‘. It is a greige lacquer with lilac glitter. The best thing about butter LONDON is that all lacquers are formulated without Formaldehyde, Toluene, or DBP. What I also like about BL are the names given to each of these lacquers. Some of these are inspired by British slang, but there are some that are royal-inspired such as these below:
- All Hail The Queen
- HRH
- Lillibet’s Jubilee (created to commemorate the Diamond Jubilee in 2012!)
- Pitter Patter (created to commemorate the birth of the Royal Baby this July 2013!)
- Queen Vic
- Tea with the Queen
- Wallis (aka Duchess of Windsor)
Don’t know what your lacquer means? Here’s a mini BL dictionary for you!
Have you tried Butter London and if yes, which one is your favourite?
