(This post was written for The Glosse Posse.)
Good morning ladies!
Welcome to the 1st weekly beauty series, where I will review beauty products that I’ve tried. Every month, I will have a theme for the weekly posts and this month’s theme, in honour of the Cambridges’ 2ndwedding anniversary, will be on Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge.
The Duchess had been spotted picking up NIVEA’s Pure & Natural Moisturising Day Cream from Boots (source).
This cream is made with 95% natural ingredients, including Argan Oil and Aloe Vera, and is catered for normal to combination skin (like mine!), as well as sensitive skin. What I also like about this cream is that it does not contain any parabens or silicones. The alternative day cream for dry and sensitive skin is NIVEA’s Soothing Day Care, which uses Chamomile in lieu of Aloe Vera.
I enjoy waking up every morning to put on Nivea’s day cream after washing my face because of the fresh fragrance (Aloe Vera perhaps?) and smooth texture, which makes my skin soft and hydrated all day long. Unlike some face creams out there that make your skin look like you have face cream on, Pure & Natural gives you a natural clean look (you don’t need a lot either!). This is my 3rd NIVEA face cream that I’ve tried. I loved their Light Moisurising Day Care but I was not a fan of Aqua Sensation (touch your cheeks too often and you’ll see little dirt balls!).
Hope you like today’s recommended product!
